Since I was a child I had a love for the world of electronics and computers.
I still remember my first computer when I was 10, a Pentium 100 with which I spent all the days playing.
When I was 13 years old I learned to build a computer all my own, as those guys who assemble and dissemble a scooter, but I did it in my bedroom.
I got in touch with a camera quite early, my father had an old Canon Camera Film but I hadn’t understood yet how important this hobby would become later. The turning point was during one of my travels. I was in Amsterdam and I had just bought a Nikon D3200 and I had only a 18-55 mm lens with me. Never would have thought that my photography backpack could be full of different lens! Since then I have followed and studied the most important photographers both in Italy and abroad.
My eyes and my curiosity have changed over time, it is really incredible how my mind can compose a photo even without a camera, lphotography starts long before the shot!! That’s why I think that we cannot speak about photography without thinking about the point of shooting, about composition, about lights, with the risk to have many photos which tells nothing either technically or of content. I was curious since I was a child and that’s why I think that you never stop learning. If so, my journey would end sooner or later and I don’t want it. When you start, you take pictures of everything. In my archive I have so many photos, friends, girlfriend, landscapes, children, my dogs, macro with flowers and insects, I have never deleted them and I will never do it. Every time I look at these photos, I realize how I have improved and grown within my field and I am so proud of this. Now, I am totally sure I am a landscape photographer!
